Snow flakes are glistening
Like a mist in the night
The holly is draped
With berries so bright

Sprigs of mistletoe gaily swing
Tied up with red ribbon bows
Always hung in a most obvious place
Young hearts' blushing cheeks aglow

Twinkling lights of grand splendor
Make winding paths down every street
Silhouettes of rainbows dance in the snow
They adorn the houses and trees

Mother nature adds to the beauty
By adding the color of white
Icicles cascading from the rooftops
Jack frost paints our windows with ice

Green pine trees all decorated
In shades of silver and gold
Candy canes hang from each limb
A glorious sight to behold

The stockings are patiently waiting
To be filled with trinkets and sweets
Little treasures, nuts and fruit
All kinds of confectionary treats

Carolers heard in a distance
Singing Silent Night and Noel
We all gather round the window
Then ask them in for a spell

Church bells ring out in chorus
Slowly fade off into the night
The sound of a peaceful town sleeping
For awhile all the world feels right

Peace and love now residing
In our hearts for all to share
A time of memories and reflections
They come round once every year
